“Stevie’s lessons are easy and fun.”Denise M., piano student
Guitar · Adult
Went from feeling daunted to confident. Patient, no-pressure lessons at her own pace, flexible about scheduling, and never too much to practice. She recommends him to anyone.
Patricia P. · Apr 2017
Piano & Bass · Family
She takes piano and her son takes bass, both weekly. In under a month, each of them could already play several songs.
Denise M. · Jan 2015
Drums
Fun, dynamic lessons, with the pace adjusting to his skill level. Would recommend.
Guy G. · Mar 2015
Drums · Adult
Two months in and very happy with the progress. A friendly teacher, and a lot of fun.
Mengyi H. · Jan 2016
Guitar · Adult
A great experience from the first lessons. They’re fun, and he’s learning about music itself, not just the guitar.

Your teacher
Hi, I’m Stevie.
(most people call me C-Note)
I’ve been a professional musician for over 40 years in rock, blues, jazz, funk, reggae, heavy metal, orchestra and dance party bands, mostly around Philadelphia and the suburbs.
I’ve been teaching for more than 25 years and have given thousands of lessons. Many of my students have gone from complete beginners to professional musicians playing in bands.
My goal is to spread the wonderful gift of music to as many people as possible, because music is good for the soul!
